That hair-curling son of a...

Some months back, on discovering a woman's curling tong in the bedroom of a guy I'd been involved with for almost two weeks, I demanded

"Have you got a girlfriend or have you been curling your own hair?"

After explaining that they belonged to a female friend the guy remarked,

"I can't believe you thought I'd been curling my hair!"

Do we really live in a world where two-timing is considered more acceptable than a man curling his hair?

Two-timing is extremely common. Men curling hair is not. Ergo, the latter is the more deviant behaviour.
