My Carbon Footprint

I'm feeling rather smug as I've calculated that my carbon footprint (4.006 tonnes) is less that half of the uk average (9.8 tonnes).

This is low partially because my preferred method of transport is the bicycle, I rarely fly and my fuel bills are relatively low.

However, it's still double the desirable figure (2 tonnes.)

To reach optimum I need to buy more organic and local produce, stop being seduced by attractive packaging and become more dedicated to recycling. It would also help if my landlady could install double glazing as that would probably half the fuel bill in this house.
